Aashna Avachat is a YA author from Berkeley, California and a student at Harvard Law School. She's passionate about uplifting marginalized voices in publishing and supporting creators of color. When she’s not writing, she’s probably reading on a sunny patch of grass, going on long walks to grocery stores, or being cozy with one of her many foster kittens.

Her debut dark academia murder mystery MISCHIEF GIRLS comes out in Fall 2026 (Random House/Delacorte), and her second romantic comedy HOW TO FAKE A LOVE STORY IN 15 DAYS comes out in Winter 2027 (Penguin Workshop).
